Becoming a member of a fraternity or sorority provides opportunities to develop lifelong friendships, a supportive environment, and career networking opportunities. The Office of Greek Life promotes excellence in leadership, scholarship, and service. Greek Life strives to enhance the collegiate experience of fraternity men and women through their involvement in the Greek Community. UT Tyler has an active Greek Community and is home to two National Panhellenic Conference sororities: Alpha Chi Omega and Delta Gamma; three North American Interfraternity Conference fraternities: Kappa Sigma, Pi Kappa Phi and Sigma Alpha Epsilon; and one National Pan-Hellenic Council organization: Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
