ART 4393 Degenerate Art

This course examines the fate of Modern art and Europe's treasures from the rise to the fall of the Third Reich (approximately 1915-1945). Topics include art as propaganda, art confiscation, art theft, art destruction, and the use of art to support racial theories and population control.
