Department of Academic Transformation
The Department of Academic Transformation supports the University’s mission of being nationally recognized for its high quality education by working closely with faculty to maximize their teaching effectiveness regardless of mode of instructional delivery. The spirit of quality and service guide the department as we assist faculty in the design and delivery of courses as well as video production and classroom support services.
The department provides an ongoing faculty development program for course design, course delivery and teaching effectiveness through workshops, individual consultations, production services, online education and classroom support services. Support services are made available to distant learners and faculty to assist in providing a quality education.
Distribution of educational technology equipment for on-campus presentations is also provided at no charge for University-sponsored events. Non-University sponsored events may be assessed a fee for time and materials. Because of the frequency of equipment use, a reservation is required at least two days in advance.
