MANA 4388 Business, Government, & Society

This course explores the complex interrelationships between business, government and society. Topics include the advantages and disadvantages of the corporate form, value creation, stakeholder theory and stakeholder analysis, corporate social responsibility,corporate citizenship, the political environment and the role of public policy and regulation, the employment relationship, income inequality, workforce diversity, sustainable development, benefits and costs of globalization, organizational ethics, and the impact of technology.
