PHAR 7162 Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience 2

This course provides students with practical experience in community pharmacy practice, including administering immunizations; accepting and interpreting prescription orders; dispensing prescriptions; patient interviewing; patient medication records; practice regulations concerning the distribution of medications and practice roles; and an introduction to the principles of self-care with over-the-counter medications and non-pharmacologic treatments.
