Admission Requirements for Candidates for Supplements

  1. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college;
  2. A Texas teaching certificate;
  3. A cumulative grade point average of at least 2.75;
  4. A deficiency plan prepared by the Director of Certification in the School of Education;
  5. Approval by the Director of Certification in the School of Education.
NOTE: In accordance with Texas Administrative Code, all applicants must be fully admitted prior to taking any coursework in the area in which they are seeking certification. Therefore, no provisional admission is allowed.
