Field or clinical experiences are required in conjunction with professional education courses of the Bachelor of Science in Education degree. The School of Education in cooperation with participating school districts assigns students to school placements.
In order to be eligible for a recommendation for EC-6 teacher certification, candidates must pass required TExES examinations (Content, Science of Teaching Reading, and the Pedagogy and Professional Responsibilities) and complete the requirements for the Bachelor of Science in Education degree and clinical teaching.
