PHAR 7166 Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) 6

The Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) PHAR 7166 course provides student interns with a more advanced understanding of community pharmacy practice.  This includes but is not limited to prescription processing, the patient care process, pharmacy management, an introduction to medication therapy management and other pharmacist daily activities.  As part of the course, there will be weekly integration assignments that brings real-life perspectives to the didactic material that the students are learning in the classroom. Additionally, there will be three (3) required session activities that must be completed by the end of the rotation to advance the student’s knowledge of practice.
